According to customs statistics, the total import and export volume of aquatic products in China in 2018 was 9.5442 million tons, with a total value of 37.188 billion US dollars, an increase of 3.33% and 14.44% year-on-year, respectively. Both the total import and export volume and total amount reached a historical high. The annual trade surplus was 7.465 billion US dollars, a year-on-year decrease of 2.339 billion US dollars.
